Peter Manders has been a term in florist trends for over more than 50 years. In 1955 Manders Sr. started a nursery and a flower shop in Huizen. 10 years later, in 1965, he started a garden center in Dronten (Flevoland). 
In 1980, at the age of 20, Peter Manders started to work at his fathers company. In 1985 he started a flowershop in Lelystad with one of his brothers, and later they also took over one of Manders Sr.’s shops in Dronten. 
Since 1999 Peter Manders is an independent florist established in Lemmer, Friesland.

The total surface of the current company is about 350m2. The actual store contains a greenhouse with plants and has a separate workspace for the private sector and larger green and floral projects for companies and agencies. There is a huge variety of flowers, there are always more than 125 different varieties in stock and 5 times a week they have auction fresh supply. Also there is a wide choice of plants, flower pots, bowls and vases (see products). This makes Peter Manders a multidimensional florist.

The team of Peter Manders is mainly specialized in wedding arrangements, funeral arrangements, business relationships and flower-planting and offices (including aquaculture). Since 2002 the company joined the study group florists Northern Netherlands and is therefore always familiar with the latest and the most current techniques and expertise.

Peter Manders is a member of Fleurop Interflora. Not only in the Netherlands, but almost anywhere, 1st quality flowers and plants can be delivered.
