Frédéric started studying landscape gardening and horticulture before branching out into floristry. He then joined the team of the famous French florist in Paris, Gilles Pothier, Florists World Champion, Best Craftman of France and now President of Interflora France. It was the start of a real passion for floral art which rapidly led him to competition.

He likes when adrenalin flows in him during competition and the challenges that come with creative design. His sources of inspiration are various but contemporary art and nature are his biggest influence. “I am very attentive to my environment: I always look around me, even when I’m driving, and when I find inspiration I park my car and I take pictures or pick some interesting foliage.”
