The host of the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2015 is Fleurop AG. Fleurop in Germany is a company of professional florists and is a stock corporation based in Berlin. The shareholders are exclusively Fleurop partner florists who operate qualified floristry businesses offering the services of Fleurop.

The company’s more-than 100-year history is impressive. In 1908 the Berlin florist Max Hübner had an ingenious idea: Instead of sending flowers on an extended journey, an order was to be sent to a reliable local florist—the Fleurop idea was born. Today around 50,000 partner florists in 150 countries form the global Fleurop network. The Fleurop principle applies worldwide: Each and every Fleurop message is hand-arranged by a professional florist and handed to the recipient in person. Around the world, Fleurop partners deliver over 25 million Fleurop messages each year.

The host aims to strengthen the worldwide Fleurop-Interflora network and also the profession as a whole, to inspire people with flowers, and to encourage and promote cultural exchange.

The ARENA, an architecturally fascinating industrial building from the heady days of the 1920s, is the venue of the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2015. The hall on the banks of the river Spree is unique to the Berlin event scene. The unique location directly next to the river Spree unites tradition and modernity.
