And the 10 World Cup finalists are....

Second competition day was really emotionally. During the day  competitors had involved in two tasks.

the location all around  the competitors  was very warm and narrow by the spectators looking them so they were only focused on their wonderful work.
And they were!

No break was possible because everyone were busy in that special race, while the jury proceeded their slow and meticulous evaluation, competitors continued with the preparation of their  work. It could feel the tension from their movements and eyes.

After weekly, sometimes monthly, preparation, putting flowers was very complicated and it took precision, speed and right movement during the insertion because it could nullify all the work in few time.
It was a “race against time” working with exciting and intense moments, until the stop working and waiting all the evening the finalist annunciation.

The evening ends with the announcement of the finalists, and than was  party! a riot of flags and chants.The fortunate competitors  that have got  access to the finals the following day were:

Nevstad Hildre, Pirjo Koppi, Alex Choi, Neil Whittaker, Jurgen Herold, Martin Groen, Sofie Danielsson, Aritaka Nakamura, Tanus Saab, Mehmet Yilmaz

Before the results, the organization has blessed us with a fantastic show, a beautyfull demonstration  by  the world famous florist-designer Elly Lin,  and  the 2010 World Champion ,Stein Are Hansen

It was a unique show, at the height of the event, and expectations. The gorgeous lightly-clad structures of  Stein, in contrast with the new textures, shapes, masses of Elly Linn, two distant worlds, two different cultures together in this wonderful show.
