ZENTRALVERBAND GARTENBAU E.V. (ZVG)

Central Association of German Horticulturists (Zentralverband Gartenbau - ZVG) is the holding organisation of German Horticulture uniting all its branches. It is both, political mouthpiece of the members on the one hand and service organisation for the member associations on the other hand.
The main members are 16 federal horticulture associations. Organized in the ZVG are as well the associations of producers of ornamental plants, trees and bushes, vegetables and fruits, the association of cementrary gardening and florists and plant final sales and landscape gardeners.This structure of ZVG is unique both in Europe and perhaps worldwide. Corresponding to the different types of horticultural companies apprentices can choose among seven different specialisations in the horticultural training
