In the Netherlands, close to Aalsmeer in De Kwakel is the Kordes facility ‘Kordes Roses International’ tests the market acceptance of new varieties and offers growers around the world the added service of supplying young cutrose plants propagated in-house at the facility. Since 2013 the testing, selection and promotion of new varieties for the Dutch and European market takes place at the facilities of Moerheim New Plant, Weteringweg 3a in Leimuiderbrug / Burgerveen

But Kordes Roses International also aims to deliver first quality rose plants of all other varieties the client needs. This means that we also deliver rose plants of most of the other rose breeders’ varieties. Also the Elite® rootstock material of Natal Briar will be fully available at Kordes Roses International.
Clients can expect realistic and objective variety and growing advises from Kordes Roses International. On the other hand we have a close contact with the breeding department of W. Kordes’ Söhne in Germany and we can inform them about your specific demands.

All cuttings and grafted plants are produced at our new facilities in De Kwakel.
Our employees have many years experience in propagation of rose young plants. In this way we can guarantee you that the plant quality and service will be at a constant high level.

The growing and packing takes place at the specialised young plant nursery Leo Ammerlaan b.v. in Bleiswijk.

The choice of a variety is increasingly related to the choice of rootstock, growing techniques, substrate and plant timing. The approach of Kordes Roses International is to first choose the varieties, related rootstocks and indicate the ideal planting time. If these selections are clear the optimal plant type can be chosen.
