Europa Cup 2011 Havirov, Day 1, Tamas Endre Mezoffy - Hungary

In my mind, it means that different colours and forms of flowers live like musical notes. All together they shape the composition: in other words, they create a symphony. A florist can use  the delicacy and lines of flowers like a composer uses their notes. The difference is that I try to win people over through other senses as well.

The source was Antonin Dvorzak’s working class. I try to extract the things that areimportant and interesting to me.

I would like to use a strong industrial mood in my work; you can see I really love it! That style is close to mine. I achieve balance with flowers and colours. The Gerbera is not too distant from my style.. I know that many people do not like this flower, but I do. Let’s be honest: if it were not essential to use it then perhaps I wouldn’t, but I am lucky because I use a special type of gerbera.

I always try to make compositions that are different from the norm. I love to use unusual materials and contrast them with unusual flowers, as you will see! I  like to make compositions that people will talk about afterwards.

Of course I ensure that every composition has its own unique style even though if you look at them as a whole they are in harmony. It is important to know when you look around that every composition is created by my own hand.

What can you tell us about your bridal bouquet? Which techniques did you use?

It will be nice! You will feel the zing of innovation. Techniques? I will use lot of them! ;)

Can you describe the personality of the bride you made this bouquet for?

I can imagine a fiancé with a Ferrari. But as we know, it is all about the task description. I would suggest a bouquet for a cool fiancée ;)))

Who are you going to call first in case you win this competition?

My Mom, of course. She is the best person to tell everybody the news. Anybody else who is important will be with me at the Gala.
