Europa Cup Havirov, Day 1, Susie Frank Nørgård - Denmark
Task 1: Symphony in Blooms
The idea is to make the flower visualize the music – the lightness, the playfulness. The bottom of the decoration is a piano and from there the sound rises.

I got inspired by listening to the music of Antonin Dvorak.

Task 2: The Youngest City
The table top of the decoration is a mirror and in the mirror the Gerberas are reflected – the Gerbera is the flower of the city. The sculpture consists of only Gerberas in various colours and sizes. I regard the Gerbera as a happy, showy flower.

For me it is typical to be consistent and to cultivate a single element of a commission.

The innovative elements are that the heads of the flowers are turned upside down and that a garden hose supplies water to the flowers and forms the shape of the creation.

Task 3: Bridal Bouquet in the colours of EC 2011-logo
I used flowers from Tillandsia and Gusmania plants. The flowers and the leaves are spiked on wire.
Who are you going to call first in case you win this competition

Fond of colours, modern, dressed in a tight-fitting dress in one of the colours of the flowers.
