Task 1: Symphony in Blooms

What can you tell us about your ‘Symphony in Blooms’?

My arrangement will give my impression of the music by Antonin Dvorak; when you listen to the music and then see the flowers, it all comes together.

What or who were your sources for inspiration for your ‘Symphony in Blooms’ creation and why?

Just the music; music gives inspiration, everyone feels something with music, and creative people make things with it.

Task 2: The Youngest City

How can we recognize the youngest city ‘Havirov’ in your arrangement? What effect do the Gerberas add to the creation?

When I look at pictures of the city, I look at the architecture and colours and use them to create something.

How can we recognize your style in general? And how is this expressed in this creation?

Typical Belgian style, colourful, and with respect for the flowers.

The design as such, or at least an important element of it, needs to be innovative. What is the innovative element in your creation?

The combination of all my materials, and how to take care of the flowers

Task 3: Bridal Bouquet in the colours of EC 2011-logo

What can you tell us about your bridal bouquet? Which techniques did you use?

I work with frames and glue

Can you describe the personality of the bride you made this bouquet for?

The personality of the bride will be happy but with a dark, sad side

Who are you going to call first in case you win this competition

My friend, and if he is not there, Moniqueske, she is a student of mine and helps me with all the preparation for the show, and my family of course, and I would send a lot of messages.
