I like the idea of the connection between flowers and coal. Because of the colour of coal – dark brown  to black – it enhances a huge variety of colours and flowers. Depending on the type of decoration, it is possible to choose either exotic material or plants grown in our own climate zone, such as aestival annuals and perennials. I prefer using coal combined with our annuals and perennials.

There is no particular personality in any field of art who I would favour more than anybody else; neither is there any that I would like to emulate. But I try to get ideas from different interesting personalities and not only from the fields of art.

As my own challenge, I would like to continue my floral career, developing my personality, and last but not least I would like to share the knowledge I have gained through practice with younger generations of florists.
