What can you tell us about your;The Oceans of the Americas; creation? Is it for breakfast/ lunch / supper/ dinner? What picture came instantly into your mind when you learned ab

Colours of sapphire and turquoise invite the dinner guests to immerse themselves into a romantic dinner for two at the ocean. When I learnt of this theme I thought of a seaside retreat by the warm waters of the ocean. My inspiration came from trips I have taken to the Caribbean.

For which 2 people did you designed this creation and why. What issues are they talking about during the meal?

I designed this for a newlywed couple on their Caribbean honeymoon; they are talking about their future together.

How can we recognize your style in general? And how is this expressed in this creation?

I love to use colour, to take ordinary objects and incorporate them into my designs.

Who are you going to call first in case you win this competition?

I will call my grandmother back home.

Event 4: Bridal Bouquet; Free theme.

What theme did you used for your creation? What makes this creation distinctively yours?

I chose a simple, elegant theme. The contemporary style of the bouquet and use of colours are the traits I am known for.

Event 4: Bridal Bouquet – Free theme. Can you describe the personality of the woman you have in mind for carrying this special bridal bouquet? And what can you tell about the personality of her newly wed husband?

I pictured a stylish, sleek, trendsetting bride. He is a forward-thinking modern man.

Whose work do you admire? In floristry but also in fields of art, design, music?

I admire anyone who can pick up a floral knife and create a beautiful design.

Event 5: Corsage; Free theme.

For what kind of event did you make this corsage? Flowers have the ability to make people happy. How should you convince people to wear a corsage more often?

I made this for a senior prom. By teaching them that a corsage is actually floral jewellery.

How many hours did you spent in preparing your attendance to this competition? What thoughts and feelings you experienced during the preparation do you want to share with us?

I spent many hours getting ready. I wanted to share how excited and happy I am to be here.
