Something slightly different for Easter

Ilona Oostenveld made this colour combination especially for Easter. This table piece is relatively quick to make and is a creative variant of a bundle of hazel branches. The arrangement is made of pot plants in stead of cut flowers, perfect if you want something different during Easter.

1. Use a square plate and decorate it with broken and unbroken eggshells. You can use eggs in different sizes and colours, such as chicken’s eggs, quail’s eggs and plover's eggs

2. Stick little Easter branches between the eggs, but keep three spots open, where you can place the pot plants. Place three Calandiva® Brazil in the empty spots and decorate the pots with yellow linen.

3. Then glue some Bromelia leaves on the eggshells. Use the orange Guzmania Witmackii leaves to offer some contrast with to the yellow colour.

4. To make the piece even more cheerful and use some funny decorative materials, put some curcumas in the piece. The green colour of the curcumas matches the tips of the Guzmania Witmackii leaves and the waxy green leaves of the Calandiva® Brazil.
