Dreaming in colours

At the Alden Biesen Flower Arrangement Event - the theme Touche Couleur was well captured in Stefan van Berlo’s room 'Breill’.
Stefan:
"My main objective is to have people fully covered and immersed in a colorful floating world, the moment they enter my room."
Roses; they are and always will be the queen of all flowers!! I really experienced the new light pink rose Heidi! as a great discovery!
About Stefan van Berlo:
"I am a young florist, but I have gained a lot of experience by participating in several major competitions and winning several awards. I guess you can describe me as an ambitious person, and a unique innovator."
I prefer to work with colors, it makes people happy. Furthermore the challenge of combining colors, is fascinating. It is always easier to work in white/green, and always comes out beautifully.. but to me this is playing safe and has an 'exaggerated goodness' to it. As a florist when you play around with colors you can cause excitement and bring more people into realizing that what you have achieved is much broader and wider than they previously could have imagined.
colour = dreams

I have my project listed as "dreaming in colours" or "dreams in colors”. It is my intention that when people enter my room they be fully covered in a colorful dreamy world. I hope to take it to a level where people are going to feel high without having used any drugs!

We have worked with wreaths of OASIS® Floral Foam, wool, iron pillars, Phalaenopsis, roses and hydrangeas. The iron pillars had been bound with wool well in advance while the rest of the work is done here on site.
Phalaenopsis; a very elegant flower is one of the favorite flowers that we have used. Phalaenopsis provides the floating effect in my project.
Roses; they are and always will be the queen of allflowers!! I really experienced the new light pink rose Heidi! as a great discovery!
