Elegant farewell

Flowers are important and can help alot while dealing with grief. During mourning in the western culture, white has traditionally been the theme colour, often characterized by white floral pieces. Here is an example of a stylish and exclusive funeral arrangement, made with the large flowered Rose White Naomi! by floral designer Miranda ter Voorde.

Products used in this arrangement
- 25 stems of White Naomi!®
- Larix wood
- Aspidistra leaves
- Tillandsia
- Sheep wool
- Oasis ® Floral Foam
- Oasis ® Floralife ® Leaf Shine
The White Naomi!® stems are cut to a shorter length, next the flowers are placed at the middle of the floral foam.

After sticking the White Naomi! Roses in the floral foam, Aspidistra leaves are added on the sides of the floral foam. The aspidistra leaves are first cut into two, folded and then put into the floral foam

Next, the folded Aspiditra leaves at the sides of the floral foam are treated with Oasis ® Floralife ® Leaf Shine. With this treatment, the Aspiditra leaves get a glossier look. The Oasis ® Floralife ® Leaf Shine also prevents dust from getting on the large smooth surfaces.

As an additional element, Miranda incorporates sheep wool to the arrangement. So it looks like this white arrangement is placed on a cloud.

For a more natural appearance, Miranda cuts pieces of Larix wood and uses wire to install it at the sides of the floral foam.

Some stylishly placed Tillandsia leaves give this creation a slightly contrasting hue and makes it an elegant farewell package.
