Circle of Love

For Mother’s Day, Indonesian Ineke Turangan uses her artistic skills and techniques to create nice round shapes in her arrangement. You can ideally describe this as Circle of love. Ineke explains: “The love of a mother is eternal, just like circles.” In many countries such as China, Japan and several European countries, the circle is a symbol of eternity.
Materials that Ineke used for this Indonesian styled arrangement:
- Dahlinova® Longlife Balsas
- Asparagus Plumosus
- OASIS® Floral Foam
- Pink ribbons and decoration material of plastic
She starts with a circle made of Floral Foam OASIS® and covered with Asparagus Plumosus. An eye catching, green field appears. The next step is simple, wrap three purple Dahlinova® Longlife Balsas in pink, plastic decoration material. By wrapping the plants it already looks like three presents for mum. Place the three Dahlinova® in the middle of this arrangement.
She then gives this pink arrangement a little something extra by using some pink ribbons. Connects the ribbons with staples in neat lovely circles. Then attaches the circles on the outside of the OASIS® Floral Foam. Decorate the last circles of ribbon next to Dahlinova® Longlife Balsas.
