Assignments Interflora World Cup - Keith White, USA
At the second day the designers have to make two assignments. The first is a table arrangement, named 'Green Tea for Two'. On a round table they have to create their masterpiece in two hours time, taking into account that the maximum height is two meters. The second preliminary event is a bridal bouquet with no size restrictions, but obviously the 'Oriental Pearl Bride' must still be able to carry the designers creation.
Green Tea for Two
Green Tea for Two and the popularity of green tea has European roots, in ancient times of tea trading. So definitely this history of tea trading brings me to a proper - tea! This feeling of proper tea tends to have more of a feminine approach to this setting.

I would invite a perfect stranger. In my world travels it is always nice to meet new friends!
What level of standards should products used in table settings meet? Which choices have you made?
In the category size and style for the occasion, in the Contestants Marking Schedule, distinction and suitability should be a major consideration. Although it is just one of the points to be judged. I think that a person must want to get seated at the table. Would you enjoy your cup of tea or would be too affraid to be seated?

Oriental Pearl
Again a wide interpretation. From the pearl landmark here in Shanghai to the culture pearl. It is based on structure and nature. From the hardness of a metal structure to the delicate individual pearl. The colours of the landmark, like pinks and reds to the steel-grey are incorporated.

I used a metal and aluminum as the basis of the structure and delicate blooms interwoven. Why: because the colours combine the tradition of Chinese red for the wedding with a contemporary flair.

I used Gloriosa for its delicate and colourful bloom. Along with the Sweet Peas and the structural form of the mini Calas.
Keith: "The bridal bouquet is always about comfort for the bride to carry and should not overpower the bride!"
