Assignments Interflora World Cup - Stoffer Veurman, The Netherlands
At the second day the designers have to make two assignments. The first is a table arrangement, named 'Green Tea for Two'. On a round table they have to create their masterpiece in two hours time, taking into account that the maximum height is two meters. The second preliminary event is a bridal bouquet with no size restrictions, but obviously the 'Oriental Pearl Bride' must still be able to carry the designers creation.
Assignment 3 - Green Tea for Two
When you walk by you must become curious to what is to be seen at the table, but also when you sit at the table it must stay exciting.

My little daughters of 6 and 10, so that they finally can see what it’s all about. I have had the table in the living room all the time and had it made up in many ways. It was always a surprise for them and of course I asked their opinion.

I go for the colour red orange and in my pieces of work I can show all maturity phases, from bud to full flowering, which gives more perception

Assignment 4 - Oriental Pearl
Explain how you incorporated the theme” Oriental Pearl” into you bridal bouquet?
As pearl I have chosen for the lotus flower.
I have used the lotus flower form in my basic construction. Also the Chinese temple form of my free piece of work comes back.
Which techniques did you use? And why?
Glue technique. For my basis of metal and paper this is the only and fastest way I think.

What made you choose the specific products and/or varieties you used for this bridal bouquet?
I use the Vanda orchid mini, orange coloured, calanchoe, vine rose, tillandsia and other side materials in the orange, salmon and gold colour.
