Red Christmas
Not all consumers like too much fuss during Christmas time, some prefer subtle and stylish. None of the decorations used in this wreath are uniquely or exclusively for Christmas, but exude the desired tone due to usage of the right natural materials to create a Christmas mood. Petra has used a wreath from Oasis Floral Foam as the basis for her arrangement. To make this wreath completely covered up, she used natural materials entirely, with the exception of red bouillon wire which is the only item in the arrangement that is not natural.
Making of the Red Christmas
She first started by getting pieces of Continusleave together; this helps create a stronger stem that in turn enables her put it in the floral foam.
After that, she rolled up some anthurium leaves and wrapped them up using the red bouillon wire.
She also wrapped up some cucumber fruits with red wire, before putting them on a stick to make them easier to process into the floral foam.
Special elements in this arrangement are the pomegranates, which are all placed on 3 little sticks before been added to the arrangement.
After these decorative elements, she then added the main products of this special arrangement; Red flowers. Petra used Red Naomi! The red rose with a long vaselife and the strikingly colored red anthurium, Sierra. A branch of vine works well, to complete this arrangement.
