In cooperation with the Dutch Florist Association, Dutch Creations sponsored the annual floral event for Dutch Florists. Dutch Creations had designed a special booth with various arrangements of top quality products to inspire every Dutch Florist. Besides the Dutch Creations booth, top designers gave demonstrations on 'How to make' and a special competition for 'Zilveren Tulp 2007' translated as "Silver Tulip 2007' was held. Hanneke Frankema won the 'Zilveren Tulp' trophy; as Dutch champion junior floral designer and will represent Holland at the Eurofleurs 2008 in Brussels.
During the demonstrations, top designers showed their creativity and skills, surprising visitors with the original and impressive arrangements they made at the live show. One of the designers was Per Benjamin.
Inspiration for design
Christmas was the inspiration behind this eye-catching design. The main colours he used were Bordeaux red with purple and some blue accents. This, he combined with pink and other transparent colours, which give the creation a somewhat happy feeling. Per tried to somehow elevate the flowers so that they can be seen more clearly and make the presentation even more appealing. The designer does this by using a modern & contemporary way to present 'old-fashion' flowers hence making it more elegant. Flower arranging is about 'Thinking of what you would like to express'. Per's signature is a clear concept of this.
