We loved these roses showcased during De Ruiter East Africa Open Days
On February 27th and 28th, just after the busy Valentine's season, De Ruiter East Africa hosted rose growers for their first open days of the year. The two-day event was strategic for DREA; enabling the breeder to focus on potential sales for the rest of the year after valentines. During Valentines, De Ruiter successfully pushed for their Big Five Reds, including Cupido®, Red Kamala®, Ever Red®, Rhodos® and Spectre®.
Rose growers who attended the open days had a chance to sample new introductions and codes, as well as commercially proven De Ruiter rose varieties. This was an opportune chance to sample growth and trade characteristics of the various rose varieties and determine what would work best at their respective farms.
