RTI's for flowers and plants
Single-use packaging is designed so that it can be thrown away immediately after use. This packaging has no value after use. The single-use items are often made from recycled materials. In the flower and plant industry you can think of the flowerbox made of carton or the black bucket.
Multi-use packaging also known as Returnable transport item (RTI), is designed to use multiple times for the same transport purpose. The more the RTI’s are used, the costs should be considered over their whole lifetime. So the more and longer you can use the item, the cheaper the usage becomes.
