Last Saturday the winner of the Magical 150-day challenge was announced in the broadcast of De Grote Tuinverbouwing on SBS6. Regina Kenter is the lucky one! She has cared for her room hydrangea from the beginning of May to the end of September with a lot of love, with a beautiful result. Just like her 99 fellow challengers, she has regularly shared photos via Facebook from the moment of receipt to show the color gradient of her Magical hydrangea to Magical fans.
From blue to intense red
Regina was selected from just under 500 pre-registrations and received a blue Magical Revolution at the beginning of May. From that moment on her Magical 150 day challenge started. During the 150-day campaign, everyone could see her hydrangea change from blue to green to intense red! A great achievement that is rewarded with a nice Magical prize.

Magical started recruiting participants in the challenge in March. The registration closed in mid-April and the winners were drawn by drawing lots. From 1 May, 100 Dutch and 100 German winners have received a free Magical room hydrangea worth € 16.95. In this way they could experience the Magical color change themselves, as well as the ease of care of the strong hydrangea.
Thanks to the use of # magical150dagenchallenge, entries became visible to all Magical fans. This social PR campaign took place this year for the third time in the Netherlands and Germany and ran via Facebook and Instagram. In addition to user-generated content for the hydrangea brand, the campaign also offered an interesting hook for highlighting the Magical USPs for points of sale of the Magical hydrangea. Garden centers could request promotional material through free.
