Parfum Flower Company might be touching a sore spot with its campaign #onlyscentedroses. After all, the first thing you do when you pick up a rose is trying to inhale its fragrance. Only to be tremendously disappointed when finding out modern roses do not have any scent at all. To perfectly display this negative experience, and to show a better alternative to normal, modern roses, Parfum Flower Company is launching a new campaign in collaboration with florist Pascal de Laat and videographer Romy Schraven: #onlyscentedroses.

'The sense of smell is a special one. And for us, that's what it is all about,'' Lara Kuhr, Content Marketer at Parfum Flower Company, says. ''It captures memories so much better than touch, sight or taste. The wonderful scent of roses in your wedding bouquet - or simply in a vase at home - is something I believe the market is waiting for, instead of the boring, non-scented roses you see everywhere. Roses NEED to have a natural fragrance; otherwise, it's not a real rose to us. Deep down, I think anyone would agree to that. ''
Arnold Wittkamp, Marketing Manager at Parfum Flower Company: ''We're hoping this video goes viral, just like the video of packing roses at the Tambuzi farm in Kenya. That video now has over 1.5 million views and is shared almost 3.000 times. A simple video, hand-shot with an iPhone. I think the first video of our new#onlyscentedroses campaign also has a great chance of being picked up everywhere and the potential to go viral. We'll see.
