Zyon Group will be joining Floral Trade Group as from 1 January 2019. The cooperation with the export company fits within the future ambitions of Floral Trade Group. Managing Director Wim van der Plas: "This development is in line with the Floral Trade Group's strategy for 2020, which states that we want to become stronger in retail."
Zyon Group has offices in Westland, Aalsmeer and the subsidiaries DJ-Florals and Zyon Hungary KFT. For more than 40 years, Zyon Group has specialized in the sale of flowers, plants and gift items to retail chains in the higher segment in Europe. They help retailers to build and exploit a successful flower and plant category.
Martijn van Noort strengthened the Zyon Group management team on 1 January 2019. He combines this function with his management duties within Floral Trade Group: "I am impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the Zyon Group employees. Their customers are leading retailers in Europe, with whom they have had a successful strategic partnership for many years. This fits well with the identity and working method of Floral Trade Group. ''
