Leading breeder Dümmen Orange and Jan Spek Rozen had a stellar display of their well known and novelty varieties during the 16th edition of the Naivasha Floricultural Fair. During the show Jan Spek rose Veronica was named as a ROOOZ Top Variety and awarded Medium cup. Dümmen Orange variety, Antique was also nominated under the same category.
The annual Naivasha Horticultural Fair is touted to be the Continent's biggest showcasing in horticulture. The Dummen team was at hand to guide visitors on market strategies and take them through Dümmen Orange and Jan Spek Rozen roses. These were presented alongside Summer Flowers, Chrysanthemums and Carnations.
Varieties showcased included: Cherry Tree+, H30+, Jessy®, Lizz@, Muru@, Patz® ,Pink Arrow+, Red Dragon, Smiley@, Jackpot+, Snowstorm+, Sombrero®, Alpe D Huez®, Classy Alison®, Dilek+, Times square@ among others.

On the sidelines of the show, Dümmen Orange hosted visitors at their showhouse in Naivasha where a wide array of promising rose varieties stood in full bloom together with other commercially established roses. Flowerweb.com had a chance to visit the showhouse where Vijay Bhosale (General Manager Dummen Orange East Africa) gave us a tour of the facility.
The new Dümmen Orange showhouse boasts a layout that is strategically segmented to allow visitors to enjoy a more effiecient and targeted tour of the facility. The assortment is divided under: High End Roses, Novelty Roses, Wild and Rare Roses, Retail Market Roses, Spray Roses & Novelty Fragrance Roses.
