Hanneke Frankema crowned Dutch Floral Design Champion

Hanneke emerged winner out of a field of eleven participants during the gruelling event held on 4th-5th September.

The championship organized by VBW and Veenendaal had the competitors participate in five different assignments including surprise assignments and those pre-done before competition days.

During the two days, hundreds of florists, flower stylists, arrangers, employees and family members came to see the flower arrangements, as well as the more than seventy bouquets that had been handed in for the Flowercup.

There were demonstrations by World Floral Design Champion Alex Choi as well as members of the VBW Inspiration Team. Tom Siebers came in second and Geertje Stienstra took third place. Hanneke will represent the Netherlands at the European Floral Design Championship to be held in Poland in 2020.
