This year Swiss cosmetics brand Valmont celebrated 33 years of success. And what better way to do so than launching a special edition of their iconic facecream in some amazing floral installations? The Hongkong division couldnt agree more and invited top designers Solomon Leong, Dennis Kneepkens and Alex Choi for the decoration.
One of the most stiking installations was that of team DK. Specifically instructed to use the brand's recognised colours white, gold and green colours, it was Dutch designer Dennis Kneepkens who came up with the idea of creating a breathtaking floral pilar. Using white Meijer Roses rosa Avalanche, hydrangea and ranonculus combined with Montana Alissa lisianthus green created the perfect Valmont look.
Inspired by the face cream's anti aging effects, DK partner Mick Stubbe developed the idea to incorporate a hourglass effect. By covering the flowers partly with shiny gold cubes the whole installation got a magical dreamy effect.
