Record number of visitors on the first day Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair

The first day of the three-day Trade Fair in Aalsmeer had a record number of over 6000 visitors. During the Trade Fair is the theme of "Welcome to the Green Age!" sustainability. More than 200 of the 700 exhibitors are MPS-GAP certified. These exhibitors are the Green Walk together.

Royal Flora Holland promotes sustainability in the supply chain and therefore presented at the Trade Fair, the "Greenovation Award '. Exhibitors could therefore offer their product or concept. A jury assessed the entries and nominated a consumer jury has determined the ranking. Thursday is the Trade Fair the Greenovation Award in the categories of Best Concept and Best Article.
 

At the Trade Fair was with great interest the kick-off of Floriday, the digital platform for the horticultural industry, Gerhard van der Bijl, Chief Digital Officer of Royal Flora Holland. Floriday offers great benefits for both growers and buyers. The first users have registered on the spot.

The international character of the trade fair is reflected in the participation of exhibitors from all over the world. For example, from outside Europe, Israel, Japan, Taiwan and the USA represented. Visitors are possibly even international. Much attention was paid to the many new products, especially those of the winners of the Dutch Tulip Award.
