Growing Red Naomi! in Africa
In the build up to Valentine’s Day, the British Florists Association had several of their members have their say about a selection of commercially successful red rose varieties and rank them according to various factors. These factors were Quality & Beauty, Value for Money, Suitability for Standard Dozen Red Roses and Suitability for Luxury Dozen Red Roses.

The florists found Red Naomi! to be the best with regards to Quality & Beauty, Suitability for Standard Dozen Red Roses and Suitability for Luxury Dozen Red Roses. The rose was ranked second best on value for money.

Red Naomi! production in Africa
Red Naomi! grown in Africa has proven to be a production and commercial success after Schreurs unveiled the variety to rose growers in the continent and subsequently to the international market. Red Naomi! stands out with a nice red color that is loved by everybody.
Red Naomi! has an average production of 170 stems/M2/year. Her head size is 5.5+ and stem length is an average of 70cm. The rose has normal susceptibility to pests and diseases.
