Royal De Ruiter East Africa welcomed African rose growers and other players in the floriculture industry to their first open house showcase of 2016. Flowers and Conservation.
When MD Edward Manning represented De Ruiter at the historic event when the Kenyan government destroyed the largest ever stockpile of ivory and rhino horn. 105 tonnes of elephant tusks and 1.3 tonnes of rhino horns were set ablaze, reaffirming the country’s commitment to protect its iconic wildlife species. IFTEX 2016
During this year’s IFTEX show in Nairobi, Royal De Ruiter East Africa presented a regional coverage in a bid to ensure continued market growth. In enabling this the breeder has established test cases and showhouses across the East African region, in line with their strategy for Creating Flower Business and a client-based approach to narrow the gap between breeder and grower. Naivasha Hortifair 2016
When De Ruiter was Named Best Stand at the Naivasha Horticultural Fair 2016. At the show. The company had at the time been striving to increase its market share in the low altitude T-Hybrid varieties and feels it has created enough synergy at this level with +5cm head sizes, +60cm stem lengths (Ensuring auction marketability), excellent vase life performance, good pest & disease resistance & 140 stems p/sqm production figures.
