Second hotel opening for designer Dennis Kneepkens

After a flowering opening of the Copthorne Hotel Baranan international floral and interior designer Dennis Kneepkens has now finished the second of what ultimately will be three hotel openings during his stay in Iraq. This time it was the turn for the new Millennium Kurdistan Hotel & Spa.

The new Millennium Kurdistan Hotel & Spa is named after the Kurdish region the city of Suleimaniyah, Iraq, is part of. It is build next to what will soon be Kurdistans most modern private hospital to date. Both will be working together, the Hotel & Spa forming a relaxing place to stay during medical treatment of family members. As a hommage to this peaceful setting, designer Dennis Kneepkens chose to work with soft pastel colours. Despite many breathtaking designs, the star of the show was the 1,5 meter wide sphere in the lobby, fully made of high quality roses.
