Dennis Kneepkens opens Copthorne Hotel Baranan

International floral and interior designer Dennis Kneepkens has succesfully finished his first hotel opening. After launching a brand new flower and lifestyle boutique in the city of Suleimaniyah, Iraq, the youngster was asked to do the decoration of the brand new Copthorne Hotel Baranan. It is one of the city's first hotels that is part of an international hotel branch.


Dennis Kneepkens traveled to Iraq in order to be part of the change of the country. Setting up a brand new flower and lifestyle boutique shop, the designer now sells European quality fresh flowers and lifestyle products from European brands to the people of Iraq. The developing country is fastly building a sizable amount of new hotels in order to cater future expats and travelers. The 4 star Copthoren Hotel Baranan houses 78 rooms and suits and is located only a 10 minute drive from the international airport. Symbolising a fresh start for the country, Dennis used only white and green colours to decorate its spectacular opening, amongst them branches of white Phaleanopsis and green Cymbidiums.
