“Flickering Flame” in the Garden by Floral Designer Fabio Pedone at Fleur Amour 2016
The theme for the 2016 edition of FleurAmour Passion for Flowers flower design event was centered around the four elements of earth, water, air and fire. The event now on its 21st edition was as tradition held at the Commandery of Alden Biesen and featured an impressive display of amazing and inspiring decorations.
Tasked with decorating the Castle's Garden was floral designer Fabio Pedone. His project was called Flickering Flame. He was assisted by floral designers Mauro Arnesano and Cesare Bianchi.

The idea is that the flames grow up from the ground like a “Inis Fatuum“.

The “earth “is given by structure , i covered it with CLAY ( Argilla cruda) and the fire is given from the shape and flowers

I did the flame using a structure made by wood, chicken net, and poliuretan foam, all covered by Clay ; The water is guaranteed by Oasis foam , put inside the structure

As always it is an honor to be invited at fleuramour, and i enjoy meeting other florists, and friends there.
