“International participation increasing at Flower Expo Ukraine 2016”
Flower Expo Ukraine 2016, which will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in 2016, will host an even more international group of companies than in 2015. The exhibition will be held from 12-14 April 2016 and will take place at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) in Kiev. This year the organisers are proud to announce that the number of countries, represented by exhibitors, has already significantly increased in comparison to the 2015 edition. Currently the following countries will be represented at the exhibition: Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands and Ukraine.

Companies, which have not been participating in the recent 1 or 2 years, are returning to the Ukrainian market, as they also believe that the market will further recover in the coming years. The Free Trade Agreement with the European Union (EU) means an additional argument for them to participate once again.
Overall the organisers expect a 30-40% increase in terms of exhibitors and size.
During the last edition, which took place from 31 March – 2 April 2015, some 5.000 (trade) visitors visited the exhibition. The majority of the participants were very satisfied with the results and will once again take part in the 2016 edition.

Flower Expo Ukraine is Ukraine’s leading and only exhibition for Flower Business, Horticulture, Nurseries, Landscape Design and Floristry. The exhibition was launched in 2006 by CoD Exhibitions in Kiev and organized under the patronage of the Flower Council of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Netherlands embassy in Kiev are supporting the exhibition.
Several events will be organised during the exhibition such as an extensive demo program with top floral designers Peter van der Sluis (The Netherlands) and Mark Frank (The Netherlands) plus a round table conference organised by the Netherlands Embassy.
