Jan Spek Rozen expands partnership with Olij Breeding

Beginning January 1 this year, Jan Spek Rozen expanded its partnership with Olij Breeding to also cover Colombia. Jan Spek Rozen is represented by Olij Breeding in East Africa, South-Africa, Poland and at other European and East European countries.

“The experience that Olij Breeding has had with our rose varieties will be vital as we enter the Colombian market,” noted Eric Spek. He added that there were many promising Spek varieties currently planted at Olij Netherlands that will be great for the European market.

Jan Spek is one of the oldest breeders in the world having been founded in 1890 by Eric Spek’s great-grand-father Jan Spek. Their cut roses and garden roses varieties have been well embraced on the international rose markets.
