Auditors from the Kenya Flower Council (KFC) trained at DLV GreenQ
Kenya Flower Council (KFC) is the most important organisation to promote the economic, social and political interests of the floriculture industry in Kenya. Part of their activities is certification of farms by set standards. Growing to the next level six KFC auditors are trained at DLV Plant GreenQ this week on mitigation of risks of pests and disease in roses and other crops, production of clean plant material and other aspects related to hygiene.

On the other hand implementation of advanced international standards for certification were discussed and phytosanitary topics addressed. The final day will be spend on the FloraHolland Trade Fair in Aalsmeer and IFTF in Vijfhuizen.
The training is part of a project financed by Nuffic (Dutch government) that is executed by DLV GreenQ.
