Day 1: First competition task: Wedding in the Andes
Competitors will make a wedding design for a traditional Colombian wedding in the Andean region. The arrangement will be the central piece for the chapel. The arrangement should be representative of the region.
The arrangement will be made in a vase. All floral material must be placed in floral foam.
The arrangement must be at least 1,5 meters high. This height includes the dimensions of the vase. There is no high restriction. Color is free.
I relied on the construction of the churches that are baroque type and have pillars holding up the roundabouts. My work is like a pillar in the Baroque style.
Colombia is a diverse country in flowers; I rely not so much on the tropical, but on the roses and prioritize what Colombia offers.
It’s perfect for a couple that likes the classics, contemporary and romantic
