The rose with a pure white color, grows a strong and long stem and has good headsize. Recently rose grower, Bemack Farm, that sits at an altitude of 2,500 m asl at the fringes of Mt Kenya commenced production of the rose Countdown! in an area of 5,000m2

Count Down! characteristics:
- Pure white color
- Stemlength 60 – 70cm
- Production 160 – 180 stems per M2 per year.
- Vaselife 9 – 11 days
- Normal susceptibility to pests & diseases
- Head size 5cm

The farm’s Packhouse Manager, Mr Hannington expressed his excitement about the pure white rose. Their produce is currently being unpacked by Mr. Jan Ruhe of Richmond Trading that operates at the Netherlands BSI Auction. Some of the bunches are also sent to direct markets in UK & Australia. Initial quality reports on the rose’s transportation abilities show that it is strong and not prone to damages.
