Floral designs by Julia Rose on the cover of Fleuresse
Fleuresse, a recently unveiled online guide on wedding floristry which is run by Tesselaar Flowers has featured on their latest cover an amazing design by florist Julia Rose. The Byron Bay floral designer is loved for her maverick pieces that have been featured widely on fashion runways and avant-garde media campaigns in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Tesselaar Flowers has over seven decades’ experience as a flower wholesale company and deals with a good number of top florists in Australia. The company has in the last couple of years been keen on tracking the hot trends in wedding flowers, including colour, style and season.
Fleuresse features works from the crème de la crème of Australian florists and also carries inspirations, ideas and images from Tasselaar’s wedding flower competition “Top Gun”. The annual competition attracts more than 1,000 entrants each year. Julia Rose was a top 10 finalist in the 2012, 2013 and 2014 competitions. She won second in the flowers to decorate category last year. on this she expressed her joy and pride pointing out the high standards of competition.
On the trending styles, Julia says, "Golds and copper toned highlights are all the trend this year. And geometric shapes are running strong through to upcoming season's florals.
"Natural bouquets with soft movement and a gorgeous height variation are always at the top of the list. And installations! Stunning and amazing fresh floral installations.
"From traditional arbors adorned with flowers, through to suspended lashings of greenery hanging opulently from rafters and ceilings, large floral wall backdrops and feature pieces. My brides are always my main source of inspiration in creating individually tailored designs.
