During Fleuramour 2015 in Alden Biesen the floral designer ULVIYA AKHMEDOVA from Moscow was asked to create a floral design work in the "Het Salon" of the castle at Alden Biesen.

This project should bring my view to the main theme "Party"!
I will try to create the right mood with a single type of flower (I chose dahlias),
and one type of decorative material (color oasis). A combination of simple forms and bright colors,
but in large amounts should give the right feeling of festive confetti! It'll be a bit of graphically work.
To be honest, turn this vision into reality will be a surprise for me first of all ))
Entering the room, guests must dive into the play of colors!
My recipe is: surprise, color, brightness, volume, unusual design!
- Oasis rainbow foam cakes from Smithers-Oasis
(they produce interesting material that has many options for decorating, I want to try my own version)
- Dahlias from G-Fresh (best quality of flowers)
Step by Step creation of "CONFETTI" by ULVIYA AKHMEDOVA
Steps:
- preparation of oasis, creation of unusual shapes
- color combination of oasis and selection of dahlias (color)
- construction design by gluing of the oasis the entire height of the room
