"I get inspired by the pure and simple technique in which she unfolds slowly to the world;
full of elegance and subtlety it carries me to my dreamworld filled with love for everything
that gives me a feeling of warmth and gratitude, as a reflection of myself.
capturing it's refined beauty i love making 'jewels of nature' with that sense of emotion.
still i'm exploring life, embracing the imperfect.... in the search for that next little special 'thing'."

I really like simple designs that show the beauty, vulnerable and fragile side of life , especially in this time were nothing is obvious. I prefer light subtle structures and little details to show the strength of something little in a big screen, mostly I’m fascinated by natural processes and butterflies.

I was mostly inspired by butterflies and white weddings. A fragile and natural design that is covered in a natural veil that attracks white butterflies. A design that gives you hope and makes you wonder, a party in a simple way.

white delphiniums from G-Fresh, glass bottles, fishing net, (bees)wax, latex
The white delphiniums because I just love this flower for it’s stature and the little airy and butterfly like flowers. The netting and the beeswax will create a beautiful fragile structure and a little veil to catch all the beautiful little flowers in it. Wax is just a beautiful and simple material to work with, to create fragile structures that are also strong.

Step by Step creation of "Frozen in Time"
Because it’s always a great event, to work with other designers and to see your friends once again, and ofcourse because it’s a beautiful surrounding and a posibility to show your work in this immense atmosphere
