FleurAmour set to Celebrate 20 Year Anniversary in style
Starting Friday 25th until 28th September 2015, FleurAmour, passion flowers will be commemorating its 20th anniversary. This unique floral event takes place in the fairy tale setting of the magnificent National Commandery of Alden Biesen (B). This impressive castle with its vast domain, an English park of 43 hectares, and tight symmetrical beds in a French garden is a real attraction. Combine this with a unique floral event and you end up in a fairy tale setting. A nice excursion for both young and old!

During FleurAmour, the largest international floral event, the Land Commandery Alden Biesen is immersed in a floral show. After months of preparation, over 100 floral designers from home and abroad will adorn the rooms in the castle with tens of thousands of flowers. Each year the event attracts more than 15,000 visitors.
This year’s FleurAmour is a festive edition marking 20 years since the event’s inception and will be celebrated with more flowers and a richer floral experience.

For this anniversary edition of FleurAmour, world-renowned designer Tomas De Bruyne will transform the court of honor of the castle into a sublime experience with thousands of unique Avalanche roses Meijer Roses.
Together with Tomas’ students, EMC will demonstrate why education in the floral industry is important. EMC Students are familiar with and enthusiastic about the fascinating world of creative design.
This year Bilzen City Hall is again put in the spotlight by Bilzerse florists: Ludwig Hardy (Hardy flowers), Jos Berx (Bloemenatelier Janelke) and Carla Vanheusden (Bloemkepluk). They'll work with as many as 4,000 carnations in different colors. This concept will also elaborate further on the bridge of the Commandery at Alden Biesen. Here you'll get a taste of FleurAmour 2015.
Creative visitors who come on Friday with a floral hat will be offered a glass of cava and stand a chance of winning great prizes. On the catwalk, visitors can show off their own creations. Each year this initiative has been a great success with lots of enthusiastic participants.
