On the second day of Fleurop Interflora World Cup competition, the designers were asked to undertake two live task which they could prepare at home. First- a revolutionary bouquet 100% Hand-tied. The second assigment of the day was all about creating a 100% organic workpiece that is free of floral foam, wire, or metal.

Flowerweb worked directly with the organisation to make sure we not only show you the end results but also a spep by step from start to finish. We interviewed the competitors to tell us the stories behind the creations and techniques used
Below you can see the results from Kristine Lyngsaa.

Day 2: Third competition task: 100% organic
Task three relates to freedom by reduction. All of the contestants are required to avoid using any materials that are not recyclable. This is all about creating a 100% organic workpiece that is free of floral foam, wire, or metal.
Bones from 7.5 cow´s boiled and cleaned up, put together with an old tecnic, drilled holes and put together with sticks og beech. ( it was hard to make those to materials working together but we strired and suceed!!
useing materials in the colors you can see in the bones, the blue scale, and just a touch af yellow. All marterials you can imagine on a Danish meadow - alive, playfull materials, growing from the bones in the soil.
It was an exiting, fantastic, fun ans extremely challanged task -hard in the beginning not to use wire or anything not organic materials in the thinking process - but first desided what to do and how to Work, it was fun and from times to times, very difficult and time consuming task.
