STIJN SIMAEYS WINS THE " HELLEBORUS AWARD"
The first edition of the "Annual Helleborus Award" saw 25 florists take part in the competition which was held at Wilgenbroek Oostkamp.
The assignment was simple and powerful: " Create the most beautiful flower arrangement using Helleborus".
In collaboration with Fleur Creative, this was the first Helleborus Award event and the competing floral designers came up with beautiful arrangements that had Helleborus as the main eyecatcher. The jury consisted of Tomas De Bruyne, André Degraer and Sören Van Laer. With his piece Stijn Simaeys won the first prize. Young talented florist Lize The Lameilleure won the second prize while Tom De Wilde came in third.
