World Cup Ambassadors celebrate the start of the world’s greatest festival of florists
World Cup Ambassadors from 13 nations responded to the invitation from Fleurop AG to gather in Berlin in August 2014 to form a piece of World Cup history and to celebrate the launch of the most important competition for the international floristry industry.
The aim of the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup in Berlin is to strengthen the worldwide Fleurop-Interflora network and also the profession as a whole, to inspire people with flowers, and to encourage and promote cultural exchange.

After attending the German Championship of Florists on Friday morning, the team of Ambassadors spent the afternoon in a presentation of the international PR strategy followed by workshops to develop content for the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2015. On Saturday there followed lots of fun on a tour of Berlin! On the agenda here was the filming of a promotional video for the World Cup 2015. The gala evening of the German Championship of Florists on August 23 in the Arena in Berlin also featured an appearance by the World Cup Ambassadors. Up on the stage, their contagious exuberance and bubbling enthusiasm about the coming event were clear to see! To the delight of international guests from Europe and Japan, the video clip filmed that morning could be watched that evening on the big screen. The World Cup stage programme culminated in a very special introduction: The Fleurop-Interflora World Cup 2015 logo was presented to the public for the very first time! This was the starting shot for Fleurop-Interflora World Cup preparations around the world.
The public announcement for the decider in Germany will be released at the end of September.
