Annick has a flower shop called "Onverbloemd" where cosiness, creativity and flowers come in the first place.
So secondly the flowers to use in the room were very important to her. She loves garden roses (even grows some herself) but fot this creation she was happily surprised by beautiful garden roses and special roses from Ecuador from Van Der Deijl Roses and Princess roses.
They were right up here ally, big heads super quality and some with a nostalgic fragrance!
After setting up the room with dotted wallpaper and adding the trinkets from the 50's.. she started to create the structure for the flowers.
First she took a sewer pipe from 2 metres long and diameter of 50 cm en cut it in half.
Than she took Poligonium which was dried for 1 year and cut in in small pieces. It’s color reminded her of a recorder (fluit) form the same time. The pieces were than glued on the sewer pipe to totally cover it. In between the edges she places moss.
Thereafter she created four pillers from Smithers Oasis Cake forms (22cm) placed on top of each other on a bucket. The bucket was also covered with moss and neatly trimmed. In the oasis she placed rolled Gallax leaves. Now the structure was ready add the colourful roses from Van Der Deijl Roses and Princess roses.
