Three brilliant designers accepted a challenge from the Fleur Creatif team during Fleuramour 2014 to decorate one of the bigger rooms at the castle of Alden Biesen.
The three designers, Peter Boeijkens, Jan Aartsen and Frank Timmerman decided to take it up an ante and limit themselves to only working with green products...
This is where "The Green Room" came to live.. They wanted to display different styles of floral arrangement, from classical to modern. They used Smithers Oasis floral foam in all the decorations.
The Green Room team feels floral art should be treated and seen as other forms of art such as paintings, but should at the same time, be experienced.
They have therefore created frames like floral paintings.. some of which are "see through" so the the visitors can actually go on the picture with the Floral creation.
