Wooly Eternity by Moniek van den Berghe
As it happens every year during the annual Fleuramour event, the Fleur Creatif team gives, Moniek van den Berghe the distinct challenge of decorating a room at the castle of Alden Biesen.
During this year's event, she decided to use some very special material for the structure to create tender wool circles. She visited the fabric of Lehner Wolle which makes natural products out of sheep wool. Besides the wide product range of Lehner Wolle
Lehner Wolle³ flower wool which is specially designed for the florist industry. The company has also built a good reputation in the building industry. In this segment they sell insulation made out of sheep wool under the brand name Isolena.
When Moniek visited the factory and saw the Isolation for the building industry she got an idea to combine it with the floristic material.

For Moniek, shapes are an important component of design, hence she decided to create large circles with the Isolation and the coloured floristic wool. After that she combined it with similar coloured Gerbera from "Coloured by Gerbera". The fact that the gerberas are also circular in shape and come in different sizes and colors gives the design a very nice effect.
A special construction with a ladder had to be made to be able to place the gerberas without damaging the wool structure.
The stunning result is a gorgeous structure combining the tender structure of the wool in a circle with an attractive blend with colorful gerberas.
