Popeye Root Stock from Olij Roses

Popeye rootstock is a rootstock that Olij has been trailing for several years now. The company planted their red rose variety Red Horizon on it and made some very interesting discoveries. This rootstock reduces stem length, maintains foliage on bending and increases production by up to 15%.

Olij is now offering the Popeye rootstock as a rooting option within their propagation facility. Customers should come and visit to see the results first hand in the planted trials and organise their own trials and commercial plantings.
