During the joint meeting of the advisory councils for flowers and plants on June 19, the evaluation of the ‘non-members do not auction unless’ policy was supposed to be discussed. Unfortunately, we were forced to postpone the evaluation until the joint advisory councils’ meeting on September 4.
During the General Members' Meeting (ALV) of FloraHolland on Thursday, June 5, the proposal to credit half of the liquidity contribution for 2013 was voted down. This meant that no further decisions could be taken concerning the annual accounts at that meeting. Therefore, a new General Members' Meeting is planned for 10 July 2014. The joint advisory councils' meeting on June 19 was devoted entirely to new proposals to cover the loss incurred in 2013 in consultation with the chairs of the advisory councils. This means that the 'non-members do not auction unless' pilot for the selected 11 product groups will continue unchanged through the summer.
Progress within FPCs
In May 8 additional information meetings were organised on this theme for FPC-members. A number of questions were posed in these sessions. The information collected about this topic is available. We shall talk with the FPCs on the basis of the collected background information to include it in the interim results of the pilots.
